Delete your Nivora account

The fastest way to delete your account is directly in Nivora. If you cannot access the app, you can submit a deletion request by email. You do not need to reinstall the app solely to view this page.

Delete your account in the app

  1. Open Nivora and go to Profile.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
  3. Review the warning and confirm both deletion prompts.

When the request succeeds, deletion starts immediately and you are signed out. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.

Request deletion without the app

Email [email protected] from the email address associated with your Apple or Google sign-in when possible. Use the subject Delete my Nivora account and include:

  • Whether you used Apple or Google to sign in.
  • The email address associated with that sign-in.
  • Your Nivora display name, if you remember it.

Do not send a password, access token, government identification, or other unrelated sensitive information. We may ask you to verify control of the associated sign-in email before deleting the account.

An unlinked guest account has no email address or external sign-in identity. If you cannot access the device session for an unlinked guest account, contact support with any information you have. We will only delete an account when we can identify it and reasonably verify that the request comes from its owner.

What deletion removes

  • Your user profile and guest, Apple, or Google account-link records.
  • Refresh sessions and server-side authentication records.
  • Push-notification tokens, reminder settings, and delivery records.
  • Daily reading history, card and meaning snapshots, and collectible reading history.

What may remain temporarily

Deleted information may remain temporarily in restricted disaster-recovery backups until those backups rotate. Limited security, operational, support, or legal records may be retained when reasonably necessary for abuse prevention, compliance, or legal claims. We do not use retained backups to restore a deleted account during normal operations.

Processing time

In-app deletion starts immediately. We aim to complete a verified email deletion request within 30 days. We will contact you if we need more information to locate or verify the account.

Deleting the app is not account deletion

Uninstalling Nivora removes the app from your device but does not, by itself, send an account-deletion request. Use one of the methods above to delete the account and associated active data.
